Stephen Colbert is an American comedian and television host who has won nine Primetime Emmy Awards throughout his career. The Daily Show made him a household name and soon after he became known for hosting the Comedy Central program The Colbert Report from 2005 to 2014. After The Colbert Report, he launched the CBS program The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2015, which he still hosts to this day.
In the first few seasons of The Late Night Show, Colbert’s annual salary was at $6 million per year, but with the new contract, the star’s salary got a nice boost. Now, he takes home $15 million during the scoring period, despite some minor hiccups his show is facing ratings-wise. He might need to start consulting his financial advisor about this.
