Eddie Murphy is considered one of the best when it comes to comedy. When Eddie Murphy was 15 years old, he was influenced by Richard Pryor’s comedy album and determined to become a comedian. In the earlier part of his career, he used to be part of Saturday Night Live. He also kept him and his family from the clutches of bankruptcy with his work as a standup comedian.

Eddie Murphy made his film debut in 1982. He collaborated with Nick Nolte in the film 48 Hrs. After that, he starred in Trading Places, Best Defense, Beverly Hills Cop. These films performed well at the box office. However, things slowed down starting in the late 2000s for him. Projects came out less and less and that means less income for him. Good thing, he knew a trick or two working behind the scenes as a writer, director, and producer. With these added in his arsenal, he would never have to worry about using his credit card again.
