Ace Ventura, Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber, and The Mask are some of the most iconic funny characters in Hollywood. They were all portrayed by James Eugene Carrey, better known as Jim Carrey. Jim starred in almost 40 films. His success was so immense in the ’90s and 2000s that he established a life far from bankruptcy. He is one of Hollywood’s best comedians, and he is remarkable for his distinct comedy style that involves energetic slapstick performances. Aside from acting and comedy, he is also known as a producer. One of his projects was the 2015 documentary film Rubble Kings.

CARRIE HENN – TEACHER

We might not have heard any news on Carrie Henn today. But in the late ’80s, she was one of the child actresses who caught the attention of movie fanatics. However, there were only very few films to her credit including the sci-fi film, Aliens. Even without acting experience before she starred in the film, she garnered the 1987 Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actress. After her brief time in the show business, she focused on her studies and now works as a schoolteacher in California. She continues to attend the San Diego Comic-Con for Aliens.

KARYN PARSONS – ORGANIZATION FOUNDER

Isn’t she a beauty? Karyn Parsons was well-known in the ’90s, mainly because of her role as Hilary Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, alongside Will Smith. Contrary to her role as a spoiled brat, she is a smart and talented woman in real life. She co-produced and co-wrote the Fox sitcom Lush Life in 1996 and later took a hiatus from Hollywood. That’s because she focused to put a lot of investments in creating Sweet Blackberry, an organization that aims to promote stories of unsung African-Americans. She’s indeed a beautiful woman both inside and out!

SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR – ENTREPRENEUR

Sarah Michelle Gellar was one of the most promising actresses of her generation. She was a sought-after teenage character and was given the lead role in the TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Gene Hackman is one of the Hollywood legends the young actors look up to. Well, that proves how hard he worked for his craft. It was in 2008 that Gene announced his retirement from acting. He went on to become a novelist. ELIZABETH BERKLEY – AUTHOR

Another Saved by the Bell alumna is Elizabeth Berkley, who portrayed the character of Jessie Spano, the smartest in the group who had a dreamt earning a college degree at Columbia University. Elizabeth has numerous films since appearing on the sitcom. Aside from being an actress, she set up Ask-Elizabeth, a self-help program website for young girls. Due to its unexpected success, she managed to write a self-help book with the title similar to the website. She also advocates for vegetarianism and animal rights. She was named by PETA as one of “The Sexiest Vegetarian of the Year.”

HELEN HUNT – PRODUCER

Helen Hunt was one of the most sought-after actresses in the 90’s. Her most successful role was as Jamie Buchman in the sitcom, Mad About You, for which she garnered four Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. Her other remarkable films include Cast Away, Pay It Forward, and The Miracle Season. She has a total of 15 wins and 31 acting award nominations. In the midst of her massive success as an actress, Helen wanted to pursue more so she ventured into film and TV production. A directorial film to her credit includes Then She Found Me.

PHILIP MICHAEL THOMAS – VIDEO GAME VOICE ACTOR

The ’80s was the decade where the TV crime drama Miami Vice became a hit and it was also the same decade where actor Philip Michael Thomas became most popular. The role paved the way for him to have more acting projects and indeed, he was cast in many other made-for-TV movies including Detective Extralarge. But aside from acting, he also ventured into music and released a song album. However, in recent years, he was offered a contract to provide a voice-over for the popular video game Grand Theft Auto. To his credit, he’s doing a great job voicing the main character Lance Vance.

SUSAN BOYLE – STORE MANAGER

Susan Boyle’s singing audition was one of the world’s most favorite. It was considered as one of the most jaw-dropping auditions in Britain’s Got Talent history. After belting the song I Dreamed A Dream from the musical Les Miserables, she not only garnered a standing ovation from the audience but especially a promising career in the music scene. Soon enough, her debut album became the UK’s best-seller of all-time. It’s amazing how one’s talent can bring him from bankruptcy to self-sufficiency. However, years after, she chose to shy away from the glitz and glamour of the industry and enjoyed working as a store manager.

BARBARA MANDRELL – SEAT BELT ADVOCATE

Barbara Mandrell is one of the pillars of country music who became popular in the decades of the 1970s and 1980s. She was also named as one of the country’s most successful female vocalists during that time. Of course, she has a lot of awards to brag including two Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards. In 1984, however, she was involved in a car crash that got her and her children multiple injuries. We hope they had insurance to cover the damage. Since then, Barbara has been an advocate for wearing seat belts since she learned a hard lesson for not using one before.

CHUCK NORRIS – MARTIAL ARTIST & HUMANITARIAN

Chuck Norris, before he became an internet meme, was one of the legendary action stars in the world. He is known for his fearless persona in films and his incredible maneuvers. He starred in numerous bankable martial arts films like The Octagon and An Eye for an Eye. His passion for martial arts has expanded to a great degree that aside from the show business, he went out to educate and promote the sport to children and teens to help them develop self-esteem and focus. Later, he became a bestselling author and one of his books is entitled Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America.

BRITTANY ASHTON HOLMES – STUDENT

If the ’80s and ’90s kids have seen the movie Little Rascals, then they also know who the adorable Darla is, for sure. The character was portrayed by Brittany Ashton Holmes who, until now, goes by the name “Darla” since her film role was noteworthy. She may be that cute little darling in the film but now she’s grown up to be a fine young lady. In the late ’90s, Brittany decided to focus on her studies and has pursued a degree in political science. It’s not known yet whether she wants to be an attorney, a politician, or an employee in the public office.

DANNY LLOYD – BIOLOGY PROFESSOR

Stephen King’s The Shining novel brought horror to its readers. But imagine the terror of its viewers when they adapted it into a film in 1980. To Danny Lloyd’s credit, he didn’t even flinch while portraying the character of Danny Torrance, the child with the psychic powers. His performance, along with the other superb actors, was well-received that the film was considered one of the most iconic psychological horrors of all time. After his work in the film industry, he chose to lead a private life and now works as a biology professor. He’s got a great choice of career, huh?

 KIRK CAMERON – EVANGELIST

Kirk Cameron’s popularity was at its peak in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. He came to prominence when he portrayed Mike Seaver in the sitcom Growing Pains, for which he was nominated for Golden Globe Awards twice. He is now married to his Growing Pains co-star, Chelsea Noble, and the couple now have six kids. Kirk became a born-again Christian when he was 17 years old and since then, he focused on his spiritual growth to the degree that he became an evangelist. He co-founded The Firefly Foundation with his wife and also established an evangelical ministry called The Way of the Master.

JOSH SAVIANO – LAWYER

The Wonder Years was a popular comedy-drama series that aired on TV from 1988 to 1993. It featured the social and family life of a typical American boy belonging to a middle-class family. Former child actor Josh Saviano was given the opportunity to play the role of the boy’s best friend. Josh only appeared in a few films since he stopped acting to focus on his dream of becoming a lawyer. True enough, he passed the bar exams and became a full-fledged lawyer. From 2014 to 2015, he again appeared in three episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, portraying the role of, well… a lawyer.

JESSICA SIMPSON – FASHION DESIGNER

Drumroll, please. This woman was every ’90s teenage boy’s crush. She’s no other than America’s sweetheart, Jessica Simpson. Jessica started singing in church choirs, and when she was 16 years old, she signed with Columbia Records and released an album that sold two million copies in the U.S. alone! Her success in the music industry was huge at that time that she became an actress, too. She went on to have investments in establishing her own clothing line, The Jessica Simpson Collection and became a fashion designer. She’s really good in the fashion business. In fact, her business has already earned over $1 billion in revenue.

PETER OSTRUM – VETERINARIAN

Peter Ostrum’s only project in Hollywood was when he portrayed the titular character of Charlie in the 1971 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film. After he returned home from shooting the film, his family acquired a horse and he became interested in them. He was also hugely influenced by the veterinarian that tended to the animal. He then decided to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He’s now working in New York and in 2019, he became a managing partner with Dairy Health & Management Services.

NIKKI BLONSKY – HAIRSTYLIST

Nikki Blonsky made profits when she portrayed the role of Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 film Hairspray. Maybe the role inspired her to work as a hairstylist. And take note, she’s no ordinary worker of the craft. She is actually a licensed makeup artist and hairstylist in her hometown in New York. She’s done it since 2011 when she finished her course in cosmetology. Now, Nikki continues to prove her skills in the arts and in between acting, she passionately does her cosmetic career on the side. She aspires to be one of those top hairstylists and makeup artists that we sometimes see on Youtube as if they’re doing online classes.

CHRIS OWEN – WAITER

The American Pie film franchise was one of the most popular comedy films series of the generation. It became a staple when it comes to weekend movie nights. One of the characters we will never forget is Chuck Sherman, a.k.a.”The Sherminator”. It was portrayed by none other than Chris Owen, who appeared in four out of eight films. To his credit, his character was one of the iconic ones that until now, his “Sherminator” stint is still remembered. In 2014, he was spotted working in a sushi restaurant as a waiter, but Chris still also appears in minor roles on screen.

ANGUS T. JONES – SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEMBER

Jake Harper was one of the main characters of the popular sitcom, Two and a Half Men. He was portrayed by actor Angus T. Jones. For his 10-year tenure on the show, he won accolades such as the TV Land Awards and Young Artist Awards. He even became one of the highest-paid child stars on television. He had supporting roles in films such as Bringing Down the House. However, his change of heart transpired when he joined the religious group, Seventh-day Adventist. Since then, he wanted to focus on himself and studied at the University of Colorado Boulder to earn a college degree.

TONY DANZA – ENGLISH TEACHER

One of the most promising actors of the ’80s was Tony Danza. He starred on the TV series Who’s the Boss? and Taxi, for which he garnered nominations from Golden Globe and Emmy Awards. But what’s even more interesting is that he’s also a professional boxer with a record of 9–3. Not only that, but he’s also a teacher! He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Dubuque and has taught 10th-grade English classes at Northeast High School. Until now, Tony continues to appear frequently on TV, having roles in There’s… Johnny! and The Good Cop.

MARA WILSON – WRITER

We all remember the adorable character of Matilda in the film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantasy comedy novel of the same name. Well, guess what, the child who portrayed her was actress Mara Wilson who is now in her 30s! Time flies so fast, indeed. After her acting gigs, she pursued her studies. She earned her college degree at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Now she works as a writer, having published articles for an online magazine. She also authored a book in 2016 entitled, Where Am I Now?: True Stories of Girlhood and Accidental Fame.

CHARLIE KORSMO – LAWYER/PROFESSOR

He used to be the cute little boy from the 1991 fantasy movie Hook who starred alongside Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. Charlie Kosmo grew up to be an impressive man with lots of credentials. After his gig in the entertainment industry, he earned his degree in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We all know how challenging it is to pass the entrance exams of Ivy League Universities but for Charlie, it seems like it was just an easy feat. In 2006, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School. He’s such a brilliant man!

FREDDIE PRINZE JR. – COOK

Freddie Prinze Jr. was one of the ’90s teenage girls’ dream boy. The man was so handsome that every girl envied his wife, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar. The heartthrob starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scooby-Doo, and She’s All That. After he and Sarah tied the knot in 2002, he had more time to focus on raising his family as he gradually had fewer film appearances. He also went on to put some investments in his passion: cooking. He even released a cookbook entitled Back to the Kitchen, for which he credits his Puerto Rican heritage as his inspiration.

JEFF COHEN – LAWYER/WRITER

If you ever starred in one of Steven Spielberg’s productions, then you are certainly one talented person. This is the case for Jeff Cohen as he portrayed the role of Lawrence “Chunk” Cohen in the 1985 film, The Goonies. He continued to appear in other films, but he chose to stay away from the spotlight to focus on his education in becoming a lawyer. He graduated in 2000 at UCLA School of Law and currently works as a founding partner of Cohen and Gardner, LPP. He also writes a few articles for CNBC and The Huffington Post about business and legal matters.

KARL MALONE – BUSINESSMAN 

Basketball junkies know who this guy is, and he’s certainly one of the best players of the NBA. This guy’s no other than Karl Malone, who was the power forward of the team Utah Jazz. He’s got multiple awards in his entire basketball career including two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and a 14-time NBA All-Star. In 2005, he retired from the sport. It was then when he decided to venture out in multiple business investments. He put up food businesses such as Teriyaki Grill and Eskimoe’s Ice Cream. He also became a part-owner of Burger King franchises in Idaho and Utah.

BARRET OLIVER – PHOTOGRAPHER

Another former child actor on our list is Barret Oliver, who appeared in the 1984 film The Neverending Story as Bastian Balthazar Bux. In 1986, he won the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor for his performance as the android “Daryl” in the 1985 film, D.A.R.Y.L. After working in the show business, he strived to become a professional photographer. Barret specializes in photographic processes such as Woodburytype and collodion, and his works were displayed in some museum and gallery exhibitions. A book to his credit is entitled A History of the Woodburytype. We wish him all the success in his chosen field!

BARBI BENTON – INTERIOR DECORATOR

Would you agree when we say that Barbi Benton in the ‘70s is the equivalent of today’s Miranda Kerr or Candice Swanepoel when it comes to beauty? She was one of the most sought-after models during that time and was featured several times in Playboy Magazine. She was also part of the variety show Hee Haw in the same decade. Also, Barbi is a woman of many talents. She became a recording artist and composer and had five music albums to her credit. After her retirement from the industry, she worked her way to become an interior designer.

SEAN CONNERY – PRODUCER

Open the front curtains, the original James Bond is here. Sean Connery sure ages like fine wine. Even with all those wrinkles, he still got those debonaire features. If we talk about his long list of films and acting awards to his credit, then a day will never be enough. It was in 2006 when he received the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award when he declared his retirement from acting. However, he cannot run away from his life in Hollywood and continued to produce films. He was knighted by Elizabeth II in 2000 for his contribution to the film industry.

RICK MORANIS – VOICE ACTOR

You might be familiar with this guy who appeared in the films Ghostbusters, Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, and The Flintstones. Rick Moranis was one of the stars of these timeless comedy films. When his wife passed away in 1991 due to cancer, he stepped away from the limelight to raise his two kids. Nine years later, Rick had the opportunity to become a voice actor. He provided the voice work in the animated films including Disney’s Brother Bear, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys. Good thing he was able to bounce back and increased his credit score!

 ANDREW SHUE – ENTREPRENEUR

Andrew Shue got the looks of a handsome gentleman, and he is also a man of talent! He is known as one of the main characters in the hit series Melrose Place as Billy Campbell. He was in the show for six years and also got a role in the lawyer drama film, The Rainmaker, which was based on John Grisham’s novel. Talk about life after Hollywood, Andrew moved on and put up a business. He created a networking website called CafeMom, a platform for mothers to share and talk about life and all things concerning motherhood.

ALICIA SILVERSTONE – ACTIVIST

Girl crush alert! Alicia Silverstone is truly one of Hollywood’s most beautiful faces. If you haven’t watched her in the films Clueless, The Crush, and The Babysitter, then you surely missed out a lot! She also portrayed as Batgirl in 1997 Batman & Robin film. Alicia, throughout her acting career, has garnered a lot of acting awards to her credit. But she also has put her influence to good use when she started her advocacy for animal rights and environmental protection. She was also named the “Sexiest Female Vegetarian” by PETA in 2004. As of writing, Alicia continues to have minor roles in TV and film.

WENDY WILLIAMS –  WRITER

Wendy Williams is known as an American TV personality, but you may not know that she is also a businesswoman and best-selling writer. Wendy Williams initially worked at city radio companies and once helped Philadelphia City Radio’s ratings rise from 14th to second. Beginning in 2009, Wendy Williams withdrew from radio programs and began to engage in the production of her TV programs.

Wendy Williams has published 7 books, 4 of which are novels. Her autobiography The Wendy Williams Experience is a bestseller in The New York Times. In addition, Wendy William cooperated with HSN to launch her own fashion brand, focusing on the daily outfit of urban women, including dresses, pants, sweaters, etc. She also collaborated with QVC to launch her own jewelry collection——Adorn by Wendy Williams.

AMANDA BYNES – FASHION DESIGNER

How can someone so young be so good at comedy? Amanda Bynes proved at an early age that she can be funny and beautiful at the same time. She began her career as a child star on Nickelodeon in the late ’90s and early 2000s. She appeared in All That and its spinoff series, The Amanda Show. But her fame also came with a price. She succumbed to substance abuse and probably had to hire lawyers for facing legal issues. Good thing she was able to overcome it all as she continued with her life and pursued another passion: fashion design.

TINA TURNER– WRITER

Tina Turner was born in Tennessee, USA in 1939. In Turner’s career, she sold more than 100 million records. This is a very amazing achievement in music history. As a best-selling singer, she not only achieved great commercial success, but also proved her popularity with 12 Grammy Awards.

She cooperated with Stage Entertainment in 2016 to create the musical Tina which was based on Tina’s own experience. In October 2018, Her second memoir My Love Story was released and in December this year , Tina Turner will bring her third book Happiness Becomes You: A Guide to Changing Your Life for Good to meet with the public.

JACK GLEESON – ENTREPRENEUR

We all hated this guy but loved him at the same time. We hated him as the infamous Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones but loved him because he’s so good at portraying the role. The Irish actor Jack Gleeson became a household name because he was the most hated character in the first four seasons of the TV series. After his role got cut, he took a hiatus to focus on his studies. He pursued philosophy and theology at Trinity College Dublin as a scholar. Well, good for Jack. He no longer needs to worry about student loans anymore.

ERIK PER SULLIVAN – STUDENT

Malcolm in the Middle was one of the hit sitcoms in the early 2000s. It features the life of a genius boy named Malcolm and his family. Malcolm’s younger brother named Dewey was played by Erik Per Sullivan. After Erik’s acting gig in the show, he only had a few films to his credit. One is that he provided the voice of Sheldon the Seahorse in the animated film, Finding Nemo. It’s been a long time since we have seen Erik on screen. It is known that he pursued a degree in physiological science.

MICHAEL SCHOEFFLING – BUSINESSMAN AND WOODWORKER

Many girls in the ’80s went head over heels with this guy. Well, just look at that jawline! Michael Schoeffling was indeed a heartthrob! He came to prominence for his role as Jake Ryan in the 1984 comedy film, Sixteen Candles. After the film, he starred in another eight additional films including Let’s Get Harry and Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken before he decided to retire from acting in 1991. He said that the lack of roles and a family to feed are the reasons why he quit. He then put up business investments in a woodworking shop and sells produced handcrafted furniture.

MIKE VITAR – FIREFIGHTER

Another handsome guy on the list, or should we say another popular actor in the ’90s is Mike Vitar. Mike is best known for his role as Benjamin Franklin “Benny the Jet” Rodriguez in the comedy film, The Sandlot. He started his career at the age of 12 when he was discovered by a casting agent. However, the last on-screen appearance to his credit was the 1991 film, Diplomatic Immunity. He retired early from acting to focus on his studies and to work for Gerber Ambulance in Torrance, California. Since 2002, Mike has worked as a firefighter for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

DYLAN SPROUSE – BREWMASTER

The Sprouse twins were making a lot of money and fame during the early to mid-2000s. It’s because of their success in the show, Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The twin also starred in numerous films together. After the Disney show’s spin-off in 2011, Dylan, one of the twins, studied at New York University to earn a degree in video game design. He decided that acting may not be permanent and so he chose to put up a business. After working on his craft, he became a brewmaster and opened his store called All-Wise Meadery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN – FARMER

Star Wars fans would know who this man is. He portrayed Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in Episodes 2 and 3 of the film series. He’s no other than the Canadian actor, Hayden Christensen. Hayden was one of the most promising actors of his generation. He was also praised for his performances in the films Life as a House, Jumper, and Shattered Glass, and has earned nominations for Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards. Hayden also had investments in farming. His love for farming led him to learn more about agricultural machinery, livestock, and crops.

KEVIN JONAS – ENTREPRENEUR

The Jonas Brothers was a pop band that rose to fame in 2005. The band consists of three brothers named Kevin, Joe, and Nick. They have 5 song albums to their credit, and they also appeared in Disney films like Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers. But let’s talk about Kevin Jonas. After the band split up to focus on their individual ventures, Kevin chose to have a real estate investment. He established a construction company called JonasWerner and he also functions as the CEO of The Blu Market company, which helps market the social media influencers. MC HAMMER – ENTREPRENEUR

We have a long list of celebrities who became entrepreneurs and adding to the list is the singer and television personality, MC Hammer. He rose to international fame and is widely known as the man behind the ’90s hit records U Can’t Touch This and 2 Legit 2 Quit. He is also known for his groove and flashy dance movements. However, his fortune went down the drain when he filed for bankruptcy in 1996. Good thing he was able to think smart and made wise investments by entering the business world. He put up a clothing line and a mixed martial arts management company.

VANILLA ICE – REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER

Another musician is Robert Van Winkle or popularly known as Vanilla Ice. We are all familiar with his music as his iconic song Ice Ice Baby is a tune we love to dance along to. He also made a cover of Play That Funky Music which captured the international audience. However, Vanilla Ice went through personal struggles that started his downfall as a music artist. He had to hire many lawyers after facing legal issues like firearm charges, burglary, and illegal drag racing. Well, it’s good that he survived all those and was able to start anew as a real estate developer.

STEVEN SEAGAL – RESERVE DEPUTY SHERIFF

Steven Seagal is an icon when it comes to action films. A black belter in aikido (martial arts), Steven was a stuntman to films first before he began having lead roles. In most of his numerous films, he also worked as a producer and director. To refresh your memory, some of his notable films are Under Siege, The Patriot, and Attack Force. Outside Hollywood, he served as a Reserve Deputy Chief in Louisiana. His reality show, Steven Seagal: Lawman, was patterned after his job as a sheriff. It’s awesome to know that he put his talents, gifts, and investments to good use.

Agnetha Fältskog is not only a pretty face. She’s one of the pretty voices behind the iconic singing group ABBA. LEANNA CREEL – PRODUCER

Leanna Creel is one of the Creel triplets that started acting at a young age and debuted in the films Parent Trap: Hawaiian Honeymoon and Parent Trap III. As a teenager, she went on a solo career and appeared as a guest in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. She also portrayed Tori in the popular sitcom Saved by the Bell. A few years later, she earned her bachelor’s degree in history at UCLA then went on to pursue her master’s degree in film and television. Tiffany Darwish is a singer-songwriter and actress whose career skyrocketed in the ’80s and early ’90s. She was noteworthy for her 1987 cover of the song I Think We’re Alone Now, an original song by the band Tommy James and the Shondells. Tiffany’s pop rock and country music hit no. 1 on the Billboard charts many times. As an actress, films and shows to her credit include Jetsons: The Movie and That ’80s Show. Here’s another guy whose stardom began on the sitcom Home Improvement. Jonathan Taylor Thomas played the role of Randy Taylor on the show. Jon Gosselin and his former wife Kate first gave birth to twins, then a sextuplet. Their eight kids brought a huge transition in their life. It was because they were offered to have their own reality show that will feature their family. We may no longer remember Michael Maronna as he only had a few films to his credit but the roles he played contributed to the success of the films Home Alone and its part two, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. He has also portrayed “Big Pete” Wrigley on the comedy series, The Adventures of Pete & Pete. While he may only have had a few acting projects, he decided to change his career. There’s something about Lucy Liu that makes us fall in love with her on and off-screen. She’s like the definition of femme fatale in the recent Hollywood years. Her characters in Charlie’s Angels film franchise and Kill Bill during the decade of 2000s are so iconic that until now, the audience wants to see more of her. Well, credits to Netflix, we’ve recently watched her on the rom-com Set It Up. But aside from her acting talent, she’s actually a visual artist. She goes by the pseudonym, Yu Ling, her Chinese name, and she’s had gallery shows and exhibitions showcasing her extraordinary talent.

KURT BUSCH – CELEBRITY

Kurt Busch is a professional car racing driver and is one of the competitors in the NASCAR Cup Series. His passion for racing started at the young age of six when his father accompanied him to the tracks to drive go-carts. As a teenager, he joined racing competitions with the help of his father and later enrolled at the University of Arizona to earn a degree in Pharmacy. However, his continued success in the sport was unstoppable that he decided to join more racing competitions. His exceptional skills earned him the 2004 Nextel Cup Series Championship, among many others. Now, he’s a celebrity and appears in the reality show called Racing Wives.

GARY DOURDAN – DJ AND CAR COLLECTOR

Actor Gary Dourdan is best known for his character as investigator Warrick Brown in the lawyer-crime investigator TV series, CSI. Little did we know that he started his career by starring as Janet Jackson’s love interest in the music video of her 1993 song Again. He also appeared in another music video of Move the Crowd by Eric B. & Rakim. But his breakthrough role in show business was on the sitcom, A Different World. Today, Gary continues to appear in film and TV with minor roles. But his main job now is as a collector of classic cars and DJ.

MACKENZIE ROSMAN – PHILANTHROPIST AND EQUESTRIAN RIDER

Who doesn’t love the long-running drama series 7th Heaven? It was one of the shows that somehow shaped the TV industry. You might recognize the girl Mackenzie Rosman in the show as she portrayed the role of Ruthie Camden. She was on the show for eleven years but she also appeared in other films like The Tomb and Fading of the Cries. When 7th Heaven ended in 2007, she slowly stepped away from the entertainment industry and found interest in animals especially horses to the degree that she became a competitive equestrienne. Mackenzie is also active in charitable causes.

REBECCA RITTERS – JOURNALIST

Rebecca Ritters began her career on the Australian soap opera Neighbours in 1992. She was one of the main stars of the show and portrayed the role of the character Hannah Martin for seven years. After leaving the show in 1997, she worked with the British Shakespeare Company as an actress. However, she wanted to focus on her studies and so she enrolled at the University of Melbourne to pursue a degree in Politics and International Relations. Since then, her interest in the news and current affairs landed her a job as a journalist. She now works for Deutsche Welle, a German broadcasting company.

Before there was Ariana Grande, Hollywood in the 1990s had the child star, Ariana Richards, who portrayed the role of Lex Murphy in the Jurassic Park film series. In her short time in the film industry, she garnered several Young Artist Awards for her acting prowess. However, she chose to step away from the spotlight to focus on her education. She obtained her degree in Fine Arts and Drama from Skidmore College in 2001. In October 2005, she won first place for her painting, Lady of the Dahlias, at the National Professional Oil Painting Competition. That’s girl power, indeed!

JASON ZIMBLER – SOFTWARE DESIGNER

Jason Zimbler rose to stardom for his role in the Nickelodeon television program Clarissa Explains It All. He was on the show from 1991 to 1994 and his TV character was named “the world’s brattiest little brother”. Growing up, he worked in many theater productions, and in 2007, he co-founded a theatre company in New York. He actually had degrees in Business Administration and Theatre Directing so he had the credentials for establishing the company. However, he also went after another path-in the IT industry, an in-demand career opportunity today. He is now employed by HBO as a software designer.

HANK AARON – CAR DEALERSHIP OWNER

Hank “Hammer” Aaron was at the peak of his career as a Major League Baseball right fielder in the ’50s until the ’70s. He played for the teams Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers in his entire baseball career. Due to his expertise in the sport, he ranked fifth at the 100 Greatest Baseball Players list by The Sporting News in 1999. Since he already retired, he now serves as the vice president of the Atlanta Braves. He also put up investments in a car dealership. Additionally, he is also a restaurateur and owns 30 restaurants around the US.

BLAKE AND DYLAN TUOMY-WILHOIT – FIREFIGHTER AND SOUND TECHNICIAN

The Tuomy-Wilhoit twins Blake and Dylan came to fame when they starred in the sitcom Full House, alongside another set of twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Tuomy-Wilhoit twins portrayed the role of Nicky and Alex Katsopolis and appeared in the show during its sixth until the eighth season. Heather DeLoach is remarkable for her tap dancing stint in the music video of the hit song No Rain by Blind Melon. Apart from her “Bee Girl” gig, she was also featured in the two episodes of the drama ER. She may not have a lot of acting projects under her name, but she turned out to be a successful businesswoman. She put up Sweet Bee Candy Stations and Event Planning. Heather is also married to a financial advisor named Matthew Greiner since 2017. You probably remember the character Winnie Cooper from the TV series, The Wonder Years. She was portrayed by Danica McKellar who later became part of the cast in the series Project Mc2 by Netflix. She also does voice works as Judy Jetson in The Jetsons since 2017 after Janet Waldo passed away. By the looks of it, she has a stable career in the show business and won’t probably need any personal loans. However, she has another passion: mathematics. She actually holds a degree in mathematics from UCLA and has written six non-fiction books related to the subject, some of which were included in the New York Times Bestseller list.
